This leaflet provides information about the Post Office Tower. In 1965, the opening of the Post Office Tower (now BT Tower) marked a new age of telecommunication in London. Used to distribute television programmes and telephone calls, it acted as a giant radio station and was the forerunner of the mobile phone revolution. The public were admitted to the observation gallery and revolving restaurant.
